Meet Dr. Kenya McCalebb

Dr. Kenya McCalebb began her undergraduate educational journey at Northern Illinois University where she received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication. She continued her graduate education at Rush University in Chicago and received her Master of Science degree in Biotechnology.

Realizing that her passion for health, science and technology would be more fulfilled in a career that directly serves and cares for people, Dr. McCalebb furthered her education in pursuit of a career in dentistry and received her DDS from the prestigious Meharry Medical College. Her professional journey continued at Marquette University where Dr. McCalebb completed her residency in Advanced General Dentistry and was able to enhance her professional skills and knowledge. Her advanced training includes all aspects of dentistry such as restorative and cosmetic procedures, with emphasis on comprehensive care and health awareness.

After completing residency, Dr. McCalebb returned to the south side of Chicago where she worked in private practice as a thriving associate. She has also worked as a dedicated associate in Milwaukee Wisconsin. Additionally, she has provided dental services for the United States Armed Forces through mobile dentistry.

She has been involved with many community outreach programs including numerous health fairs and health screenings to promote and enhance the importance of healthcare and dentistry. Dr. McCalebb’s strong commitment in raising awareness in oral health care has afforded her to participate in interviews with WVON, ABC 7 Chicago News, WGN Channel 9 News, and She has shared her knowledge in oral healthcare as a panelist for organizations such as Young Ladies at All Times (YLAAT), One Church One School, Mercy Home For Boys & Girls and The Women’s Ministry of First Church of Deliverance. She also was a contributing writer for Parents Magazine. Dr. McCalebb is also a member of the American Dental Association as well as the Illinois and Chicago Dental Society.

Dr. McCalebb is originally a native of the South Shore community in Chicago. She enjoys exercising, bike riding, cooking, traveling, as well as spending time with her family and friends. She’s an absolute animal lover especially dogs. She also enjoys dancing, attending summer festivals in Chicago and listening to a variety of music. Dr. McCalebb is also grounded in faith and believes that any dream or goal is attainable!
